(STARpod.org) -- A new NASA video, featuring Noah Petro of the NASA Goddard Spaceflight Center, presents incredible new images of the lunar surface taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO).
"When I first took a look at these images, my jaw dropped to the ground," says Petro in the video (see below).
"We have some of the most stunning images of the lunar surface that I've ever seen," exclaimed Petro, explaining, "These are pictures of the Apollo 17, Apollo 14, and Apollo 12 landing sites -- giving us the clearest view of where the astronauts went, where they sampled, where they conducted scientific experiments on the lunar surface."
Images taken of the Apollo 17 landing site show the resting spot of the once-mobile lunar rover. Tracks left behind by the vehicle are clearly visible, as are tracks made by the astronauts, in addition to the lunar module landing vehicle. Parts left behind forty years ago can be seen resting in place on the lunar surface. Here's a link to the NASA Goddard LRO images page.
So where are the alleged lunar aliens? Presumably they are hidden deep inside shadowy craters on the dark side (far side) of the Moon. Or not. What do you think?
